Dog abuse?

Yesterday I saw two boys throwing stones at a dog. It was a horrible sight and the poor dog kept on yelping. I went foward to scold them but they ran away when they saw me. What do you think of people abusing stray cats and dogs?

I think I'd have thrown a few rocks at them. Maybe that would teach them a lesson they deserved.

It takes a sick mind to abuse an animal. I wish those kids belonged to me. I'd turn them over my knee and paddle their behinds! Those are our future criminals in training. They start out abusing animals, then possibly their spouses. People with no compassion for other living creatures are dangerous minds.

I think its disgusting and takes a very disturbed person to abuse a stray animal. Our dog was a stray before we brought him home and he has obviously been abused it breaks my heart to see him cower over the smallest thing although we are working hard to make him realise he is safe with us.

I think it's terrible for any animal to be abused, whether it's a stray or not. I saw this one show on the Animal Channel about a baby polar bear who got it's paw stuck in a trap. When it hollered out it sounded just like it said "Mommmaaaaa". The mother bear was near by and it was the saddest thing I ever saw. These guys who happened to be near by freed the bear and it ran off with it's mother and brother but I thought that was so sad. While the men were trying to free the cub the announcer was saying how much damage the mother bear could do to the men. Although I knew this, it was still sad to see the polar bear in pain. I'm not an animal rights activist or anything like that, but I think it's sad to abuse them.
