What is your point of view about this? My friend have just recently told me. That I must be a member of the Catholic Church for me to gain salvation. I asked him, What kind of Religion that saves mankind. He told me that faith in their church applies "Outside the church there is no salvation" - this is the meaning of "Extra Ecclessiam Nulla Salus. So means to say, If someone will joined catholic he/she automatically entitled for salvation and no worries anymore for the life hereafter. Is this what Extra Ecclessiam Nulla Salus means?
I really want to hear other's opinion regarding this matter! Please share your opinion. Happy my lottings to all!

that's interesting... my own interpretation would be that if by church, we mean the universal body of christ, then yes, there is no salvation outside the church (i.e. body of christ)... but how you become a part of the church (christ's body) is, i think, the more important point... the bible tells us that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ... it is only by believing and accepting Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior that we become a part of his body - the universal church... i must emphasize that it's not about joining any particular church or religious organization, but coming to a decision about christ... and once you decide to accept christ, it is only then that you can become a part of his body, which is the universal church... I hope that helped... :)
