Do you think, getting food is a gift of God? I believe that 'our name is written on each grain we eat'. I learned this phrase from a Muslim friend in Middle east Asia. Even though I do not like to scrap the food, this phrase attracted me and I used to quote to those who waste food. How about you do you believe in this phrase?

I always believe that what ever food we have in our table we need to Thank God for what we have and give the grace to other people rather than throw it in the garbage...

I think food is a gift, and we should be careful not to waste it. But, I also believe we should be careful about saying anything to other people about throwing any out. Eating past the time we're full is wrong, too, and can lead to weight problems. For instance, parents telling kids to clean their plates, when they've already eaten until they're full, leads to a bad habit they carry with them the rest of their lives.
