hi dude, having talent wont help a player to get into national team these days. they have to have money and influence to manage there local selector and then there zone selector. i have seen many player who perform well but they wont get selected. one of my friend is a colleage player. he is an all rounder who plays really well. so he wanted tried out his luck for a place in district team. the selector asked him to bowl a over in which he took two wickets of the players who were curently playing for the district. then he asked him to bat for a movement and finaly said he was selected. later in the day, the selector finished the selection and announced the team. he was surprised to see his name missing. he went and asked the coach, u know wat he said. he got a call from another selector and he refered another player who never played for districts and neve came to selections. later the selector asked 15,000 rupess to select him into the team. my friend gave him the money and he picked him into the team. nuthing happens in cricket withou money and referce. very rarely u will hear the tales of players getting selected into the national team based on there performance.

If you are highly talented,,you will get into the team after some struggle, but if one is ok type, he needs a big jack(sifarish) to get into the team.
