Me, it depends on the wedding...if it would be friends or relatives then it's fun being there on such occasions like that...other than that it's an obligation giving gifts..lol so how bout you? happy mylotting!

Same like u, if it's my frenz wedding, i will enjoy attending them because there will be so much fun and there are no restrictions without my parents around, and i can act myself.. lol BUt if i were to attend my relative's wedding, it will be more like an obligation because they are my relatives, and most of the time, it will be bored.. ANd so, i always try to come up with excuses for not going.. lol

No i find them boring but go because i have to because family expects me to go to them . When i get married i will probably have something really small so people dont' ahve to come if they don't want to and don't have to feel like they have to come . I don't have much fun and don't like dancing and people get drunk and make fools of themselves so I would rather be at home or just out with friends .

I don't seemed to bother going to occasions like a wedding, but if I have a free time for that, I would be going but I don't think it is an obligation it more a compliment to someone who did invite me. Some of my close friends though, come to me and ask for help with regards to few things in the process of preparation I can give them a free charge for a wedding card design or a pre-planner but only for a very close friend and direct family members. I think occasions such as weddings are great, it is like sharing to your friends your time as you shared to the most important event in their life.

Marriage parties are an obligation for me. I don't think they really get time to receive all of the people they invite. They will be busy with customs and functions. We just go for showing 'hello, I have come, please note my attendance and do come to my home when there is a function' Infact I don't like the idea of big marriage parties. It is just a show to the society. It won't make any couple's relation stronger!

these days, attending to any function, be it wedding reception, or a birthday party -- it is getting tougher for me and my family to really participate and enjoy the proceedings. IT is really a very very fast paced world, and these sort of gatherings are mere places to exhibit one's pomp and romp. lols. So, being a person of lesser financial status, owing to my madnesses, I generally prefer to skip these. lols. again. Thankyou for mylotting.
