My middle oldest kitty Munin. Named after odin's raven and it means memory. Has a lil sore on the back of her neck . I recently put advantage in that area. I have dosed her with advantage before and there wasn't any side effects. I have cut away a lil of the hair around it and cleaned it with a sea salt solution . Should I be worried? Have any of you have had similar issues? have any of you had issues with advantage?

She's allergic. One of my cats is allergic to it too. You'll have to find something else to use. Ask your vet. There are other treatments you can use, including a flea shot that is safe.

She should be fine without doing anything. You could irritate the area by messing with it. If it does get worse make sure to contact your vet. My daughter is a vet tech. She's told me before some other choices you have for flea control. May I ask where you got the advantage? The ones you buy at the store are often inferior even the brand names.

I actually got it from my vet for each cat , but yea since they are inside I only do it about once a year just in case kind of thing . Like if I happen to bring them in myself or a friend comes over with a dog what not. Thank you so much for your help , I most likely will call the vet and see if its ok what not . I am just a worried parent :P
