I'm not sure exactly about that. I know for you to start feeling better when you are sick, the medicine has to be in you for 3 days and you feel better. Many people will stop their medicine then because they feel much better although they should finish their meds, because the infection is not gone until all medicine is gone as well. It should start working the first day.

Medicine usually takes effect within 24 hours. If you see no difference in 48 hours, I would call him and tell him. He may want to prescribe something different.

It is actually different with each medication . Some will take longer to get in your system but for the most part within a couple of days you should see some sort of change . If you have been on them for a couple of days and see no change yet , you should contact your pharmacist and ask them how long it should take because the medication you have may not be strong enough and you may need to get another one .

I can't put in links- but, go to WebMD.com and type in the name of your medicine
and read about it. With a skin problem I believe that it actually takes 7-10 days
for the results to become obvious. It will be a slow start so be patient!

Personally, I believe other than the immunity of one's body, the effectiveness of the medicine also depends on the "strength" of the medicine - for the same type of medicine, some medicine heals faster more effectively, some take a longer while. For me, I often ask for the stronger doze for more immediate effect if I get to the doctor.

it depends what type of tablet.for me for pain reliever its takes 5 minutes till its working.and for the antibacterial capsules it takes 3 days till it works.the cream depends also the brand.coz some brand works fast and some it works till a week.
