Need some help with adsense

I don't understand how to use adsense. I just make a blog on Blogger dot com. They say go to templates and layout but I can't find that. Do you use your own ads or do they assign them? I just started my blog today to see if I can make some money. How do you make money from it?

Why don't you use a new email ID instead? That might help.
