Important matches are being played in The Davis Cup, this week-end.
Firstly, there's the semi-finals: Spain leads USA 2-1 and tomorrow's single games are decisive, while Argentina leads Russia 2-0 after the first 2 single games, and the double game is in progress, Russia leading 2-1.
On the other hand, 16 teams are struggling to remain in the first group of the Davis Cup.
Here are the results after he first 3 days:
Chile v Australia 2 - 0 (doubles match in progress 1-0 at this moment)
Great Britain v Austria 1 - 2
Switzerland v Belgium 3 - 0
Croatia v Brazil 2 - 1
Israel v Peru 2 - 1
Netherlands v Korea Rep. 2 - 1
Romania v India 2 - 1
Slovak Rep. v Serbia 0 - 3
Is your country playing? Are you watching the games this week-end? What do you think about your country's Davis Cup team?

Hi, yes, I've been keeping tabs on the Davis Cup matches, though I haven't really been watching them, particularly the Spain vs U.S.A. semi-final. Of course, I'm cheering for Spain. The Davis Cup's team play format is quite interesting, too. =)

Yes, congratulations to Rafa and the entire team. Spain seems to be dominating in sports this year. =)
I'm looking forward to the finals. Hopefully, a cable channel would feature it so that I can watch the matches live. =)

I used to watch a lot of tennis but got really bored and annoyed when Henman was playing, as he wasn't any good and the British commentators went on and on and on and on about him.
I've started getting interested again because of Andy Murray, not just because he's Scottish but he's also a Hibs fan.
Having said that I've missed most of it and probably won't see any of it at all.

It's a shame that GB did not beat Austria, which meant Great Britain were relegated to the Euro-Africa zone. I mean, Andy Murray did the best he could, winning both matches. Whereas Alex Bogdanovic should've done better against Peya or Melzer. I think that if A Murray played in the doubles, then we could've won the match. I think it was a terrible idea that John Lloyd decided to let the inexperienced Ross Hutchins to pair alongside Jamie Murray. What's a better pairing you can get with J Murray and A Murray?
