I have been researching the Internet lately and have come across this term dropshipping. This is where you agree to sell stuff for a company. How this works is, potential customers order the products from your site or from ebay, they pay you via paypal and then with their money you place the order for what they want on the company's website and the company delivers the goods directly to your customer. This way you don't handle any products and you don't get involved in packing and posting the items. Have you ever used this kind of service, if so, what do you think? Is this a good way to make money online? Andrew

Yes, I agree that there are scams in relation to this. Thanks for the site that you have provided. I'm looking into this idea and hopefully there are some legitmate sites out there that offer this opportunity. Many thanks. Andrew

this sounds interesting, i have heard of it before, but never pursued in it. this is a how a lot of the wholesale sites on the internet operate, its basically being a middle man, i would like to also here some responses from people on how this works in general. if so, what are the best sites or whatever to start with that people have personally used. is it more difficult than it sounds?

Yes, dropshipping definitely sounds interesting. I have done some research on this subject and yes, there are definitely scams in relation to this but I don't believe every single company is a scam. There are honest people out there trying to make a living from this venture. I have been having a look at one company in particular and it is called dropshipland.com They have good reviews and many customers have been very pleased with the service that they have received. You should check them out. I even went onto the well known site ripoffreport.com They are a good site to check out to see if a particular site is listed under them. Anyway, I'm seriously considering dropshipland.com. Many thanks. Andrew

Dropshipping is not a bad idea but majority in this field is scam, www.dropshipland.com is definately not recommended unless some one wants to waste money.
One simple rule is any company who charge a joing fee is not trustworthy, some companies charge a small fee which is paid back after the first order and thats fine. Use the follwing text in the yahoo and read one lady's story whose name and pic was used by dropshipland.com fraduantly.

Arif, what a load of tosh. I have used dropshipland for around 18 months, and I have also used other dropshippers, and dropshipland.com are 100% legit and very helpful.
I have also joined many dropshippers who do not charge fees, who have been terrible, so your assumption is totally unfounded, and frankly childish.
Many dropshippers charge a fee, and for a very good reason.

Are you still working with dropshipland .com i have recently joined them. I am starting to get a few orders in without much effort. They seem genuine enough. How are you doing with them.

I tried it and went back to selling items I have. I sold for a company and when i went to place the dropship order they said it was out of stock. You ahve to take it slow because if the buyers don't get there item fast enough your feedback can suffer and if it gets to low ebay will restrict you from selling anything.
