Someone just said to me that they heard that Stonehenge is going to be knocked down next month so that flats can be built. Do you think that's right ?

I don't believe that Stonehenge will be knocked down for flats to be built, however, I wouldn't be surprised if Stonehenge was knocked down to make way for a Wal*Mart.

Hello hellsangel, Yeh! Wal-Mart, or, in the UK ... ASDA, as it is called (owned by Wal-Mart). Can you imagine, if you hadn't heard about the demolition, turning up at the site, all excited, then discovering a supermarket ? Thanks for your comment, GTG

Sad, yes, but not surprising. I would be more surprised if I was to drop a turd into the toilet on a cold morning only to have backsplash hit me right where the sun don't shine.

Common people! Do you really think the Stonehenge can be pulled down for anything. No it will not. The cultural and economic ramification is too great if England's going to allow a heritage site such as the Stonehenge to be pulled down. The world will revolt against England if that happens. Don't ever believe that such heritage site could be pulled down by anything. It wouldn't be pulled down: not even if the life of the queen is at stake.
