Well, it looks like Boomertowne may be gone for good. If you go to the site, it just says 'page not found'. Many people thought that it might come to this, but it is disappointing none the less. Groups at other sites have estimated BT owing many thousands in gift cards to members. The folowing is a paragraph from comparerewards.com.
"Update, 9/20: The BoomerTowne.com website is now down. The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions shows Concierge Web LLC is still a valid corporation, so they haven't filed for bankruptcy (or if they have, WI hasn't updated their records to reflect it). The timing of this, just two days after their PR firm disavowed any knowledge of the company's owner's whereabouts, certainly sounds final. Feel free to submit your claims to the Better Business Bureau here - Concierge Web LLC is incorporated in Wisconsin but is listed with the BBB as www.Boomertowne.com, with this address: 100 North Corporate Dr Suite 170, Brookfield, WI 53045

I appreciate the information, although I don't think we can do anything about it.. I had (3) $50.00 cards which were supposed to be coming to me and (1) $75.00 and (3) $50.00 cards which were supposed to be coming to my husband, so we are out quite a bit.. I did get one $50.00 and one $75.00 card one time only, but the rest is gone.. They didn't have the courtesy to even answer an email.. The never let anyone know what was going on at all.. We were ignored and I am sure that quite a few people did keep on working on BT, but they didn't receive anything for it.. I think that it is a shame that they were so cowardly as to do this to everyone of BT's members..

I agree. At least a lot of people are frequenting the same sites, like here and Gather! It's a shame to lose the recipes and other stuff that was on the site, but it would be a bigger shame to lose touch with friends made there.

It is sad, the site was really nice. I am glad that I had not gotten enough points yet to request a gift card, although alot of people were waiting on quite a few.

I can't believe it's gone!! I guess good thing I haven't had time to get on their site in a while. I was excited to have a site that you can get GC. I feel bad for the people they tons of GC to all that time they wasted.
