Don't you hate when someone hijacks your message?

It seems that lately, I suppose due to the stress over PTC sites going up and down, that everyone will take any opportunity or space provided to promote their blog, referral links, and other 'ads'. I'm sorry, but to me this is blatant hijacking! If I start a topic, I expect the respondents to remain true to the topic at hand, not insert ads anywhere they possibly can or take the topic off course by a remark which doesn't fit the vein of the message. Maybe I'm just being old fashioned, but I believe a little bit of respect and courtesy would stop the problem, but they are so hard to find in any online community. Just my 2 cents.

Well, I agree with you completely on this one. It's one thing to respond and keep to the subject of the discussion but, don't change the subject just to draw attention to you or what you sponsor. Adding links can be okay, if they pertain to the subject. I would like to see MyLot, kick some of these spammers out. They are ruining this site! oh, thanks for allowing me as a friend! I like to write too!
