root canals :(

so it is 1:30 in the morning here and i cannot sleep because my teeth are killing me. i have taken 3 tylenol and just took 3 advil and nothing is helping. i went to the dentist on monday and he told me i would need a root canal because of an infection on the nerve. :( i wantec to cry when i heard that! i had a root canal before on 4 different teeth at once and it was probably worse than my c-sections! i am so nervous and keep putting off calling for the appointment because i am scared. i know it will just get worse but i am putting it off. now i am awake because of the pain! my hubby would say that's what i get for not calling already! lol

When I was in my late teens my Dad decided that root canals were the best way to go for me. I went through countless hours of having one root canal after another. They lasted for about 10 years (if that) and then they started breaking and falling out. Then they had to pull the teeth anyways. Knowing what I know now I wish they would have just pulled them in the first place and been done with them. Now when I get a bad tooth it just gets pulled. They've all been back teeth so far and so it's not even noticeable.
