You create discussions and respond to other people's discussions. The actual earnings vary according to a complicated system which takes into account how relevant and descriptive a discussion or a response is.

This seems to be happening quite a bit lately. My earnings have gone up slightly as well and this is probably the third or fourth time it's happened to me in the last month or so. All I can think of is that the mylot algorithms are updating themselves evry now and then so things readjust. I have also noticed my post number changing as well every now and then.

I got 1 cent. OK, you are lucky to get 5 cents. I will not ask myLot why such difference is there! hahhahaa enjoy myLotting.
Just now I answered to a friends discussion that he lost 2 cents. That is pitty and it happens with myLot. But still myLot is good.

I think that isn't an extra bonus that it's because your old discussion is been respond again by other myLotters.
This can happen inverse. Your earning can reduce.Today my earning reduce 1c and it's happen when our post is been delete by myLot admin for some reason. Maybe break the rule.
So take it and enjoy it. hope you will get more.

I have noticed that one cent and two cents going up and down. I have been on mylot for about 3 weeks. I didn't know what to make of it. I have been trying to find out something. This answers some of my questions. Good that it happens to other people besides me.
