Well I actually have a bedside cabinet with a drawer and what I call a cubby-hole too. Ontop of my cabinet is my radio alarm clock which wakes me up with news every weekday so that I can get my kids up and off to school. Also on the top is my hand cream that I always forget to put on before going to bed and even putting it beside my bed doesn't remind me! Then there is the house phone so that I don't have to run downstairs to anwer the phone down there! At nightime I also put my mobile there so I know where it is in the morning because I am always half asleep. Inside the drawer is a load of rubbish filled with bits of paper, sticky tape and all sorts of stuff that I really should sort out. In the cubby-hole are three books that I plan on reading one day!! How about you? Do you have a bedside table/cabinet? What is on it, in it and under it?

Gel for my arm if it hurts in the night. Hand cream and cotton gloves so I can put lots of hand cream on my hands and wear cotton gloves to help it soak in (but not when hubby is home). A knitted toy ofa groom, hubby has the bride on his side. The lamp is fixed to the wall. I have three drawers, the first one holds jewellery boxes and rubbish, second one my pants/bras/socks and the last one holds my nighties and pj's

I actually have a bedside cabinet. On the top is the radio/alarm clock, a small bedside lamp, the remote controls for the tv and window ac unit. I also have a candle and a few small pictures, and an ashtray. In the cabinet part of it I keep the extra sheets and pillowcases.

Hi Humbug, I have a bedside cabinet either side of the bed each with a touch lamp on it and the one nearest the side I sleep has my Bible, the latest book that I am reading, my mobile switched to silent at night but so I can tell the time. I have never needed an alarm, my bodyclock wakes me and a night moisturising creme. In the drawers three on each side, are underwear, pjs and swimwear, one top drawer does have pen, paper and just bits and bobs really. Huggles. Ellie :D

Well it's lucky I don't have to move far to see it, as I look across the room I am already in, there's my watch on there, a bottle of water which I keep if I get thirsty during the night, a notepad, I always seem to dream up great discussions when I am trying to sleep, so I switch the lamp on, also on the bedside table to write them down therefore clearing out my mind so I can sleep peacefully. I also have a crossword book there and a magazine. Tidy naturally ;0)

I'm almost ashamed with my clutter. I have lotions, nail clippers, magazines, clock,tissues. I some times have a bottle of water, I wake up very thirsty sometimes because I think I sleep with my mouth open at times. Once in a while the cat is also on it staring at me waiting for me to wake up to feed him.

On my nightstand should be my bible, which I am looking for now. I have an address book, that I never use. There is some vick vapor rub, for when I get congested at night. A lucky stone, that I got from an Indian reservation, and a sippy cup with juice in it, for when I get thristy at night. That's about all, now where is my bible?

My bedside cabinet consists of the top, a drawer and underneath is a shelf, giving me two compartments. On the top I currently have 2 electric clock radios. The reason I have two, is because I sleep badly, so when I do drop off eventually I need the sound of both to wake me up. I also put my mobile there, also set on alarm, for when I need to get up. As well as these I have my lamp and the book I am reading. The drawer at the moment is full of my painkillers and other medication, and needs a serious sort out. I also forgot, I too put my cordless phone on the top, to save running round to find it. Underneath I have my collection of tarot cards and books, dream books and a couple of folders I use to record things in. Actually the whole cupboard needs a good sort out, and a job I may well do today.

Hello eveeee Well I hope I have given you the motivation to do it and when you have finished you could pop round and do mine! Thanks

on my bed side stand is a lamp, an alarm clock, my TV remote I also have a Homedics Sound Spa, (it makes soothing sounds that suppose to help you sleep), I bought it back in April when I first went on the night shift, It didn't do any good so it is just sitting there it is not even plugged in. Right now that is all.
@Humbug25 (12540)
21 Sep 08
Hi there Chevee Oh yeah my tv remote controller is also on my bedside cabinet, I forget to mention that didn't I? . I would get rid of your sound spa on freecycle, it's probably only collecting dust where it is and someone will take it of your hands in seconds on freecycle!! Thanks

Cough drops, a water glass, a remote control, a book, the pony-tail holders I take out of my hair after I lay down, and my glasses case. I actually use my cooler, so my water glasses do not tip over, lol.

I actually have extremely bad allergies, so I keep one in my mouth while I'm asleep. Helps to cut down on coughing and also keeps my mouth and throat from drying out. :o)

On my bedside table there is a small table lamp in the forum of a cute clown. I use it to see about in the dark, its light is pretty dim. Then you would find my speck on the table when I am asleep. And then here is my cell phone when I'm am home. I use my cell as my alarm so keep it on the bedside table and go to sleep. Yup basically you would find these 3 things on my bedside table. And may be sometimes something or the other like maybe a book or pen etc.

Hi there razor123 The only time I put my mobile on the bedside cabinet is when I am going to bed becasue the rest of the time it is in my pocket as a lot of people only have my mobile number and not my home phone number. Thanks
