If the songs are in my mother tongue or national language then I can understand the lyrics pretty fast. But if they are in English, then it takes lots and lots of hearings for me to understand the words. The easiest song for me was My heart will go on by Celine Dion, I think I was able to note down the lyrics in 2-3 hearings Has it got to do something with not being a good listener?

All depends on the song! Some of these songs you'll never learn the lyrics, if theyr even saying anything worth repeating?! What happened to meaningful stuff we wouldn't mind reciting? Taripre$

i totally agree with you. its really difficult to understand the lyrics of the english songs, sometimes even after listening for several times.. i wouldn be able to get the lyrics properly. the easiest one for me was.. i'm a barbie girl, there's a place in your heart- michael jackson! and ofcourse.. my heart will go on- celine dion!!! they are my all time favorite songs.

I think rap ones are the hardest to make out the lyrics. I think slow songs or some R & B are easier in terms of decipher the lyrics.
