I use to donate blood in my younger years until the needle missed my vein. I also donate to charity thru my employer every year. I'm getting ready to take some use clothing to the Salvation Army today for the people who loss all they had from Hurricane Ike in Texas. I'm a giver when it comes to those in need, its just human nature for me. I even volunteer my time in the community. Are you someone who takes the time to help others in need and what are some of the ways you do them?

I have always wanted to donate blood but I have low-blood pressure and clinics won't take me in. I don't know but I have tried increasing my blood supply but it just doesn't work. As of now I don't have so much time to do community service and I am also not encouraged to do so since our government leaders are always being highlighted in the news because of their corruption. How can I be sure that what I am donating will go to the right persons?

Wish I could offer a solution to your low-blood pressure. Every year I find a family usually someone less fortunate than I and adopt the family. I present them with a box of food, gift card etc. Most of the families I have helped in the past is someone I know. Last year I helped out a co-worker who needed alittle help for thanksgiving and I brought dinner and a gift card. They're always grateful and so am I to be able to lean a helping hand.

How sweet of you. I know those sincere acts of helping others won't pass God and you will be rewarded a hundred times, as I always read from the Bible. As of my low-blood pressure, I think it's already natural to me since I have been like that ever since I am young. Sometimes I just donate or give alms to beggars whenever I have something that I can give. Though sometimes I am still hesitant since I see street kids just spending their money on rugby.
