Very interesting article. I knew USA was the first oil consumer of the world, but I didn't think of China as the second. Of course, it has the world's biggest "people reserves" and it's perhaps the world's first "people producer".

very interesting. and really why we need to produce more and find more to produce and we can if they would let us open up alot of places that has oil under them!

I live in Canada. You all had better start drilling for oil in your reserve lands, Alaska, and off shore, and also uncap those oil wells. We are tired of having to pay $1.44 or $1.39 a liter. We want out oil prices to come down as well, to 49 cents a liter as it was once. Oh we do not travel as much as you do, the top part has a lot of tundra and ice. Can't travel that much except by dog sled. I guess your country has more places that is inhabitable. I think that is why you use a lot of oil.
