i don't really know about selling them, but i am a member of a site called paperbackswap. you can list all the books you have that you want to trade and other members do the same. if you are interested i can tell you more about it!

It seems as if it is only persons living in the United States are allowed to join this club. It is a pity though because there are some interesting books there.

Hello there dixie1! Have you tried e-bay or amazon? I think amazon also buy the used books, or you might start your own online shop if you have so much books there, so you don't have to share your profit with the other people. You might end up having your own used-book-online shop LOL. Good luck selling your books :)

HI, You know that is an idea...I wonder how one would set up a site to see their own books?

Whenever I have things to sell I always use either Ebay or Amazon to sell, which I find quite good of getting some cash for items that I don't want, so if you have an account with either of them that might be an idea to sell used books! Ebay has a good reputation as does Amazon, good luck with them

HI, The problem I see with Ebay is that so many others are selling the exact same book. Also, Ebay charges you to post, right? Will Amazon post for free? Thanks for the ideas!

If your just looking to clear some out, you might contact your local public library. Otherwise you might ask around about a local swap market or a second hand shop. We have both in our town...and lots of ppl not only sell on them but just donate to them. Of course, you could always send them to me ...I love to read LOL **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I usually sell my old books in ebay. It's a nice place to sell in because it has a very wide market. Actually, people from all over the world. You can even choose the mode of payment you want. Either it be cash or through paypal. Not only can you sell books but you can sell anything in ebay, old clothes, bags, shoes, accessories, toys etc. Any stuff that you no longer need.

I buy all of my books at Half.com. Why pay full price when you can get your books for up to %75. I'm so glad that you have decided to pass your books on, because so many end up in the trash.

Actually, amazon.co is the best place for books. I sell alot on ebay, but books don't sell as well. Also, you don't have a time limit. If you list them on amazon, they are there for awhile. I still have some that have been listed for 3 months. Good luck.
