Homemade chocolate Pie!!

I made a homemade Chocolate Pie today actually two of them,
and my poor old body is just screaming in pain; My feet/ankles are swollen
from standing so long today but it will be worth the pain later when I take
that first bite of my pie (G)!!I love to bake and just don't get to do it that often anymore, I was
going to make an apple pie but the stupid grocery store, is out of lemon
juice for the second week in a row, I guess I am going to have to
show them how the bloody hell to order the stuff...
I bought the last bottle two weeks ago for my Dad, we have a big apple
tree out at the farm and we needed lemon juice; the store we go to
is the one closest to us, so I guess tomorrow or sometime this week
I'll just have to drive to the Walmart Super Center, and if they
are out of lemon juice too I'm going to flip a nut! LOL!
how hard is it for these stupid places to ORDER stuff...can't they
see the big hole there where lemon juice is supposed to sit...DUH!!!!STUPID STUPID STUPID MORONS!!!Yeah Morganna needs a nap here and some heavy duty pain pills and
muscle relaxer's...aaahhh!!!

Hi Poohgal: thanks for stopping by; Yeah I had a good rest after all that;
I need to be peeling apples today and make an apple pie but I just can't
get the energy to do it yet, maybe this weekend;

I have friends that collect pigs, and well I had pet pigs when I
was a kid growing up on the farm, no pink ones though they kinda are "pink"
when born...(G)!

Homemade chocolate pies sound so good. My mother used to make the best (to me they were the best) chocolate pies. I tried to learn from her how she did it but I never could get mine to turn out like hers, no where near. Maybe she left something out when telling me so she would always have the best? hahaha
I agree about the store's restocking. You would think they would see that big gap on the shelves. What really bugs me too is when they have a product that is so good and they discontinue it and don't sell it there any more.

Ummmm - do you actually put meringue on a chocolate pie???? Seriously??? I can see it on Lemon, but CHOCOLATE???? Oh, honey, we have GOT to talk about priorities here. Chocolate pie always, but ALWAYS, gets whipped topping; REAL if at all possible. There is NO substitute! None!! Nunca!! That's like going to a Catholic Mass and asking for a chocolate wafer at sacrament. Sacrilege!!! 
But, seriously - that pie does look good, even if I won't eat meringue. But, if I ever make one (and I don't bake, so don't be expecting one any time soon), it will have whipped cream piled high, thick and buttery with just the right amount of sweet to compliment the chocolate, which, by the way will be MILK chocolate, not DARK chocolate. 
::shakes head while mumbling:: I don't know about Ms. Misery - I just don't.

Ok Girlfriend do NOT diss my "Momma's Pie" , nor anything else that this old
Farm woman fixes....
Have you tasted our Chocolate pie with Meringue...???? NNNOooooo!! if I was
able too I'd be flippin ya off here too but since I don't have enough topic
posts yet I can't do it but you can have your nasty a$$ whip cream fake cream
cool whip whatever My family loves MERINGUE On many pies, Chocolate being our
favorite, Lemon, coconut, Banana...
Different Strokes for Different folks there Jersey girl **snort** and too
when you add vanilla to the recipe you nit wit, it does not TASTE like Dark chocolate
at all...DUH!!! WE don't eat chocolate wood here...OMFG!!!

Excuuuuuuuuuse me?????
Whipped CREAM, NOT Cool Whip!!! The real thing, honey!!! And, I DO mix vanilla with chocolate - it's the only way I'll eat it. My favorite is French Silk. With shavings of chocolate across the cream.....to die for!!
