marijuana plant, what to do

I just found a marijuana plant growing in my mulch. I am assuming that someone dropped a seed that was at my daughter's party. I am not sure what to do with it though. Can i have some suggestions for how to handle this situation and what I should do?

Unless you wish running the risk of someone seeing it and turning you in as a pot grower, I suggest pulling it out and disposing of it with the rest of the weeds
