Moments of beauty that make the day worthwhile

I was going into my kitchen and saw a splash of gold on my floor, a trick of the setting sun. I felt as if it was real gold, it was so beautiful and I had to grab my camera and show it off to myLot.
Do you ever see unexpected things like this that make you stop in your tracks and marvel at them? Things like this make life worthwhile!

I haven't seen the pic yet but it sounds really nice. I love to just take a moment and slow down and look around me. It's amazing what we miss when we're hurrying this way and that way.

I have always tried to look for beauty because sometimes the world can be so ugly. But that has probably been on my kitchen floor every day for awhile and I was never in the right place at the right time. I was blessed that day! Now I make it a point to look at it daily at the same time.
Yes, we are too rushed these days. We miss out on living so that we can make a living. Ironic.

oh yes, i do see at things that might seem so normal to people. I like to see the dew drops in the leaves or the grass, I love to see birds fly in a group making the "V" shape! I like to see the fresh new leaves, their light green colour refreshes me. I love to see the sun rise each morning! which simply denotes that "I am alive"!! And that is the reason i like everything about each day and what each day brings with it.

I enjoy all those things, too. The dew especially, it looks as if the leaves and grass have been scattered with diamonds.
