I am going to South America in a couple months. Just decided on it. For fun. Where should I go? Right now I am leaning towards Peru to see Machu Picchu, but I am open towards suggestions, esp from people who have been to Latin America and have firsthand experience of what is good to see.

I am really keen on traveling. South America is at the top of my travel wish list. It is so large that perhaps it would be best to see a few sights that are relatively near one another. Like one trip might be the city of Rio de Janeiro, the Iguazu Falls and the some of the beaches in Brazil. Another trip might be Peru to walk the Inca Trail up to Machu Picchu. A very pricey trip would be a cruise around the Galapagos Islands My friend's son is traveling at the moment, currently he is Salvador and he intends to travel along the River Amazon. His trip will end in four months time in Lima, Peru. I am currently learning Spanish and know that will be useful for me in most countries in South America. Most of all I would like to go to the city of Cartagena de Indies on the Caribbean Sea. I hope to do three trips to South America in my lifetime because there is such a lot to see. How long are you intending to stay in South America? Happy traveling.

I recommend to visit Paraguay. Paraguay is a country where it is mixed nature and
its history. The variety, quality and uniqueness of the attractions of
Paraguay, is for tourists a "destination seduction."
In Paraguay the colorful red earth, his jungle brave, its rivers, their guaranĂ harmonious language, their centers craft, his music and his sincere hospitality will make any tourist to feel great.
