Do you feel lazier on Mondays?

For most people Monday is the beginning of the work or school week. Most people including me find it hard to do anything on Monday simply because we haven't got the hang of the workweek yet. So how many of you here feel lazier on Mondays? How do you get motivated to do work on Mondays?

Mondays aren't lazier days. They're sleepier days. I always have trouble sleeping on Sunday nights, and I have no idea why, but I want to nap many times on Mondays. Can't do it, but I want to.

Thanks for the "best." I thought about your post all day Monday, as I pushed myself through a really draggy day. It wouldn't help to have longer weekends, because then Tuesday would be lousy. I guess I just have to wait until retirement allows me to sleep in now and then!

well to me, mondays are really like all lazy and boring when it comes to work. i work as helping my dad in construction and so i have to dig and like when it comes to making like a garage or an extra room for someones house, i become lazy until tuesday. i do talk to his worker while we are working and depending on the conversation if its good, i forget all about being bored and lazy and unenergized. but it is good so i can be prepare for the rest of the week.

There are times when I do not like Mondays. Yeah, those are the times when I suffer from Monday Blues. I feel like my weekend was not enough. This is because I work until Saturday afternoon. Thus, the only day I can truly rest is Sunday. So when Monday comes, I feel like I did not have that much time for myself the day before. I get the motivation from the fact that I do not have any choice but to do something that I really enjoy -- my work!

Yup, I get the Monday blues....I just hate to go to work, and Mondays are the first days of the working week, so can you imagine how hard it is to get myself started! I will slowly get out of the blues, pining for the weekends, and would be at my most energetic on Fridays!

Yeah that is true, Mondays are really a day to adjust after resting for a couple of days. I think you just have to make step one at a time and in time you'll be back on your daily routine for the next five days.

You are probably just naturally lazy,or you are absolutely are stuck in your job, change your job then..for me Monday is the right day to take interest in my works.but i agree there's nothing worse than feeling you HAVE to work..have never really felt that so I never feel bad about Mondays.Cheers..

I feel a bit lazier on Mondays. I think it's because we're so relaxed on the weekends and then when we get back to work or school, it's the same stuff again. I've gotten used to it already. I try to keep myself awake by doing things that are interesting like playing a short and fast game to get my mind working. Then, when I'm more alive, I get to working.
