I had my tattoo done when I was 17 at the bottom of my back and everybody said I was too young and would possibly regret it later on. I am pleased to say that I never have but maybe would like it to be a little bit fancier!! lol
Does anyone out there have any tattoos that they regret or wish maybe they had done somewhere else on their body?

I actually waited till I was 30 to get my first tattoo. I like it. It's on the back of my neck, so I can't really see it. I would like to get more, but it'll need to wait till I have the money to get one.

Hi there Frankicesca!
That's great! I have some friends who regretted having tattoos done but most of them were drunk when they were inked.
I am 25, and would love to have a meaningful tattoo, something that symbolizes important people or things in my life but I just don't have the courage. I also heard that it might affect your application for visa or something but I'm not really sure.

I won't lie and say it wasn't painful as it was but no where near as bad as I expected!
It doesn't effect us in the UK about getting visa but maybe it's different where you are? x

No I don't have any that I regret but I have one that has a few mistakes in it that can't be covered unless I have a tattoo put over it to cover it.

HI , I have many hours of tattooed work done and I love them . Some I like better than others but hey . I grow with my tattoos. If you are thinking about adding on to your existing tattoo I would highly recommend to have the rest of it touched up as well . That way it all looks fresh and new and bright . The colors now in tattoos have come a long way even in that last few years. Yet make sure you are going to someone you trust and they are clean . Unfortunately there are those bad artist out there that try to give us all a bad name but many people can remedy it themselves by checking portfolios and talking to the artist themselves . If you get a bad vibe , then don't go to the artist. If the artist is friendly and willing to honor your skin the way it should they get my thumbs up !! good luck and I hope this help :D

My tattoos are all meaningful to me, in places where they can be easily hidden if I need them to be, or shown if I want them to be, so I really don't think I will ever regret them. I've had my first one for ten years and, while I'd like to add to it, I still think it's great. I made a conscious decision to get them, I designed them myself, I have no reason to regret them.

I think when you've designed them yourself and put so much effort into it then it is more meaningful and most people who get tattoo's this way will be less likley to regret than those who get a silly one on a whim and then regret it later! : )

but I do know alot of people that have them and have never heard them saying that they wish they didn't have them!
