To tell a lie

It is accepted that to tell a lie is not good.
Can you, still, please remember any occasion in your life when something good was done for your telling of a lie ?
Can you, again, tell if you have ever felt repentant for any damage done to other for your telling a lie ?

uff, I think that I grow up telling lies.. I'm a big fat lier and is sad to realize that.. I don't remember the last time that one of my lies bring any good consequences.. I'm trying to say as less lie as I could, but always I'm thinking only about me and that's a problem, because every lie starts with selfishness..
