Do you own your nations flag?

I am a Canadian and proud of it too. I sent away for a free Canadian flag abut 10 years ago and received it and that is the last I saw of it I guess. Packed away somewhere amongst the clutter. In the USA you can drive around a suburb and see American flags waving in the breeze. It isn't that I am not proud of my nation and want to show it it is just that I never get around to it. Do you own a flag of your nation and if so do you proudly display it?

Yes, I have way too many of my country's flags in my house. I live in the USA, and I have big versions and small versions of the flag in my house.

We Americans never have too many flags. Everyone can own or have a flag or their own, that is cool thing about our country. Heck, you can even wear the flag if you want to and no one is going to stop you.

I like the Americans and their pride in the flag. Can you ever have too many flags?

No, I don't own one.. But, I sure would like to have The United States Flag hanging from my porch. I think that this looks nice on a house.

Yes, it does... As I was writing my response, I thought of the reason why I would want a flag on the side of my house.. And as I as writing, your response came across my mind.. Sorry, that I forgot to put this in my response.. But, yes, to answer your question, having a flag dispayed shows pride for The United States.. I am so honored to represent our country!

I think that my avatar and myLot user name have answered this question for me. I also wear a pin that looks the same as my avatar, and I have Canadian and Danish flags all over the house. My Russian American husband agrees with me. We don't fly our flags becaouse they are political, rather because we love our countries, and, as the Danes would say, flags are nice. I have always loved flags.

I think a lot of people take flags for granted. It is nice to see that some people are proud of their countries and understand the true meaning behind the flags.

I am glad you have the Canadian one up too. It is so nice that we live in a part of the world where we are free to display more that one flag.

I can't even think the last time I saw one hanging from a house around here. I thought us Canadians were getting more patriotic but we have a long way to go to catch up to the Americans.

Yes we do own our flag and it flies all spring, summer and fall, unless the wind really whips up, then we bring it it.. and it's also in for the winter. Hubby bought it right after 9/11..
