I received an email with this article that was posted in the Los Angeles Times. It is the most well written explanation of the value of Prop 8 and why it is the best thing for children.

If you have any issues with it, take it up with the author, not me! Though I agree with most of what this man says, I am only passing on the information. I'm not interested in a debate. I have already made my position clear on this matter and I don't intend to debate my stand. I do plan to forward this article to as many as possible who will be voting in the State of California, especially parents.

The whole article argues against gay couples having children, and then concludes that gay marriage should not be allowed.
The conclusion doesn't follow from the premises.
Take this article to a debate about gay adoption, sure, but don't try to pass it off as an argument against gay marriage.

Go for it...the more exposure it has the better. Then maybe people will start dealing with the reality of how not passing Prop 8 could damage future generations.
