On private tuition

In our educational system one feature now discerned is that students take tuition from the start. It is very peculiar because of the fact that they have schools and they generally go to schools regularly and there are teachers in the school who are there to teach them and assist them if they need. Still students of the standard 9th and onwards take tuition from more than one teachers after their daily school. Sometime they have 3 or 4 or 5 private teachers. From the standard eleventh all is heel with them. Because of the rat race for the Joint Entrances they do noteven find time to breathe. Now the million dollar question is if they do learn by themselves or not and if they only rot the notes given by the private teachers. Do you think such an environment in education is a mark of health?
