I do not think that the ICL players should be banned from the international cricket. I am of the opinion that even for domestic official crecketing they should not be banned. They should be allowed to take part in Ranji Trophy and all other tournaments which are organized by BCCI. On one side the players from the foreign countries are going to be allowed in the Ranji Trophy (ofcourse with some restrictions), and on the other end our own good cricketers are not allowed to play these tournaments. It is becuase of the two boards BCCI and ICL. Why cannot the players play ICL tournament if they want to do so? Why they shoudl be banned form participating in the domestic tournaments? I feel that this is totally unfair on the part of BCCI to decide like this.

I also do not think ICL players should not be banned. There are no difference between IPL and ICL. Both of them play cricket. I think ICL players should be allowed to play International cricket.

No, ICL was the first concept of this kind of T20 cricket. It was the first to start entertaining people in India. If taken ICL as competetors, ICL would never comeup. ICC should allow people from playing ICL when not playing International cricket. It will also allow several young and fresh legs to get chance, as to get chance in Indiam team is very difficult bcoz of the fact that the gr8 players dont retire and occupy the place. More competition would produce gud cricketers. Also the yound and fresh cricketers would get the direct instructions and exposure to several cricketers who already retired from international cricket.

no..i dont think so.BCCI is afraid that if it lets players play for ICL,then they wont be getting much of the money and they would never consider sharing it with ICL either.i am proud of the sri lankan board for letting the icl players to play in the domestic tournaments.i hope every other countries would behave like the sri lankan board.

well, I feel Initally this was the good step to provide international background to each commitee cricketers but now when ipl has arrived the craze was down so better should be both work as a single unit or let each other work for the development of cricket "well icl should not be banned"
