A Good way to Save your Spare Change

I've started a Passbook for only savings accounts. This my sound antiquated but i've been putting my spare change/singles in once in a month and savings have really added up. The great advantage to the PassBook account is that u cannot go online and transfer your savings to your checking account. This makes savings much easier and spending more of an ordeal. This is also wonderful way for children to start a Saving Account

This is a wonderful idea. Is a passbook something that you start online or at a bank? I have a very hard time saving money. If it is in my possession, it disappears. I end up spending it or my fiance takes it and spends it. It is much easier to save if it is put away and cannot be seen. That takes the temptation out of it.
