Are you guilty of not returning the things that you borrow?

Are you guilty of not returning the things that you borrow? Do you return everything up to the smallest things? I experience someone borrowed my nine favorite books then that person didnt return it. After that experience, I became more careful about lending my things to other people. How about you?

Wow, thats something! I mean not returning nine of your favorite books?? I think thats more than the usual borrowing and lending situation. In all honesty I do have those situations where I wasnt able to return the things that Ive borrowed. Most common reason would be is that we just dont see each other that often that I usually forget. I still have the intention of returning it to him/her, I just dont have the time to go out of my way just to return one book or some item. Of course Ill give it to them immediately despite of what Im doing if they do need it as soon as possible. Otherwise we're just going to leave it to chance when and if we still meet up and finally return the borrowed item. Its also the same when I lend things. I dont expect that they return it to me as soon as they turn the last page, I can understand that. My only concern is that they still return it, regardless if its already 10 years late, and that they take care of it in all of those time.
