beofre i sleep (that is when i am the last one who was watching tv) i put the remote on the top of the tv. thats what my wife do for that is what we talked about. so if it is morning and someone needs to turn on the tv then there wont be a fuxx looking for the remote. but now that we hada toodler in the house we always have a remote hunt in the house. har har har. whats funny is sometimes when we are watching tv and i got up to take a drink or something then my son will switch channel then when i come back i can not find where the remote is. har har har. how about in your house do you also have a remote hunt?

I too have a toddler. I too have a daily remote hunt. Sometimes multiple remote hunts. It can be hard to leave the room and not be able to find the remote. She does it often even when she is watching her show's. I always find it on the couch or under it, in the toy box, and so on. There are a lot of things that go missing in the living room. My debit card was missing for about a month and she brought it to me. I really want to find that hiding place of hers.

i think the things we are experiencing are the same. but lucky me that my son has no hiding place (yet). it is funny to see that we adults are losing our things and the kids are the one who has it. thanks a lot for the response and welcome to the wonderful world of mylot.

usually, our remote is stuck in the pile of throw pillows on our couch. one have to dig from that pile before he/she can find the remote. or, the remote is hidden under a bunch of newspapers found on our center table. it really is a burden and it stresses me whenever i have to find our remote control .

but lucky for you that there are only two places where you need to look for the remote. sometimes my son puts it inside the tube of the washing machine lucky that there is no water inside. welcome to the wonderful world of mylot. happy posting and happy earning.

hahaha...that is really funny yet annoying but I know we always consider kids..hahahha...We have no problem about that here, we always place it on our table in the living room and we have no kids to hide it..hahahha...But, I remember the same problem when I was in COllege, in the apartment we are renting, sometimes, boys will hide the remote so that they can personalize the channel especially girls love to watch drama and boys love to watch sports..hahahha! we have one Tv before in the common living room!

har har har i can imagine this. the sibbling next to me is a boy too. and the next is a girl. we always make some funny things to our sister and she always cry. we even put insects inside her bag. if we only have remote tv's back then i am sure that she can not watch any shows she like for the master of the remote will be me and my bother. har har har. thanks a lot for the response

LOL. kids will always be kids., they still don't have the capacity to understand lots of things and not all kids are putting things in proper. so you really need to have lots of patience with them. anyway, sometimes, I got pissed off with those people who don't put the remote control into it's proper places. it was so hard to watch TV without the remote control. I myself, is too lazy to press the button on the TV itself. I sometimes use my feet in pressing those buttons, while sitting into my couch.

yes i agree with that. even we say dont touch it, but they see adults touching it they will not understand it clearly why they are not aloud to touch that. dont worry i have my patience and if i am on a bad day my wife knows how to control the situation. har har har. for me the remote is important for sometimes i need to volume up when there are conversations i can not hear clearly and lower it down when the noisy commercial comes in. thanks a lot for the response

har har har. i can imagine that too. when we have no child yet i sometimes misplace the remote. my wife watched one channel at a time and i am a (sometimes) a channel browser har har har. my wife has her schedule on what to watch so she does not need the remote all the time. but it is now hard to hunt it specially now that we have a toodler around. thanks a lot for the response

we rarely use the tv remote as the tv is always on ABS. we only use the remote for the dvd player, and it really looks dilapidated. That's the only time we get to use the remote when we watch the dvd.

lucky that you only watch a certain channel. we are three members in our family and each one of us has our own favorite. so the remote is really important so we can switch cahnnels every intermission or commercial. but lucky for us that our child does not play with the remote for the dvd just only for the tv. thanks a lot for the response

yes, maybe thats the right word to use, not mad but annoyed. thanks for that. sometimes there are conversations on tv that are too low that i need to add volume so i really need the remote. and when the commercials are starting it is somhow loud so i need to lower it down. thanks a lot for the response

I dont get mad...i just get frustrated. However, I have found the best solution for this. Get those pocket organisers, hang it either over the bead head, or over the couch's arm....voila...no more missing remote issue!

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot. my wife knows how to sew so she sew one of those already. we use it but we are more putting the remote on a high place where my child can not reach it. for the mean time that is so far the best thing we can do. thanks a lot for the response

I really don't get mad when I can't find the remote. My husband however will go over the edge when he can't find the remote. He will wonder around the house looking for it and get madder & madder as time goes on. He will even miss the show that he want to watch order to search for the remote. After he finally finds the remote he then gripes about how musch of his show he missed. I try to remind him that he can walk to the tv and turn the channel from there, but I guess that is much to easy for him.

ya its really irritating to find ur tv romote missing when u r in a situation to change it or move to a different channel, or trying to switch off in the night after being almost half sleep... the best remedy to this problem could be to hav another remote handy r sit very close to the tv......

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot. we have also a tv set inside the room. and that is easy for i put the remote under the pillow. it is easy to find the remote of the tv inside the room than the remote on the tv at our living room. the living room is much bigger and when the remote gets inside the basket of toys of my child then its a needle in a hay stack har har har
