i am a senior at fanyi university of china ,i met my first international teacher , john in this school ,he is from a newwork ,i learnt a lot from him in the two semesters when i took courses from him--both the gerenal american culture and the education systerm in the usa ,mr john's teating style left me a deep impression ,i could't help comparing it with the teaching style of the chinese teacger , i have had nearly fifteen years of education in chinese schools in which i have benn used to the teacher-centred classroom, it is the traditional way of teaching in china ,which is characteristized by the one- man shouw and the absolute authority og teachers ,students are supposed to listen ,to take notes ,and to completely timely all the assinments given by teacher. my international teacher broough in quite a differnet styles of teaching ,which makes students the center of the classroom ,in his class,we were free to raise questions ,and to express our thoughts , so ,i wonder what exactly an american classroom would be like ,even freer and more exciting?

the western education system is free and has peope in it that are not worth it and do not care at all. this is why they do not create a lot of good people out of it

Chinese education system is rather exam-oriented or exam-driven, while Western education system is rather motivation-driven or student-oriented. Western education system provides opportunities for students to explore and discover, and to be self-motivated towards learning.

Well, first nice to me the you as the same country in mylot~ As well,I've never been study abroad untill now,say just like you,I got 14 years Chinese education, even never been taught by some international teachers. In fact,I didn't like the English lessons in School, most of time,I would like to look at my maths books instead of listening to my English teachers(LOL,Hoping that she will not find this post`~lol). In all,I believe that the Westerns education is quite different from ours, which will give the student more rooms to think and discuss other than traditional cramming pedagogic methods(Just learnt from my friends who stuied abroad~`).Say,it will be more intersting!
