I kept him home yesterday because in the morning he woke up with a cough, a headache and his body felt warm. He missed dinner last night. He wound up falling asleep during it.
Kept him home today to make sure what ever it is is completely out of his system. Been giving him the childrens Tylenol but it takes time to work.
It seems now he is always sick. 2 weeks ago he was not feeling well in class and he fell asleep in the beanbag chair. The teacher called and I picked him up.
He never got sick till he started going to kindergarten. Now he is picking up germs.
I would hate to be the teacher right now. I am sure they pick up illnesses from the other kids.
So is anything going around in your kids schools?

I heard that there is this vitamin you could buy that is supposed to prevent colds and some people swear by it. Umm, I forgot the name.

It seems like kids in school are always getting sick, especially those who were never around other children until school.
I run a daycare and all of the kids have snotty noses! YUCK! I don't ever get sick. I think it is because I take vitamins and an extra vitamin c every day.
Hope your son feels better. It sounds like he needs to get alot of sleep too! Poor kid.

My daughter doesn't go to school yet... but that is the best place where kids get viruses and germs... so it is best to strengthen your child's immune system by giving him a lot of food rich in vitamin C... when my in-laws were sick... i did not take my daughter there for a whole week because i did not want her to catch whatever it is that my in-laws had... and good thing she didn't...
