Kapamilya Deal or No Deal - I'm off for a screening tomorrow and I'm so nervous

I received a text message from the Kapamilya Deal or No deal staff that I will be having a screening on Wednesday at 9am. I received the message yesterday, Monday, September 22, 2008. And I was scheduled on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. I am so nervous! I searched the internet on the tips on how to nail the questionnaires as well as the series of interviews. But nothing really concrete had materialized. Do you guys have tips on how to go about the process? I really wanted to be a studio contestant. And I'm hoping to be selected from the screening. This is the first time for me to join such contests and it really is nerve racking. Guys I need tips like what clothes to wear, what look should I project, how to overcome nervousness etc...

OMG potrish I'm so jealous of you I've always been a big fan of this game and of course Kris Aquino 
. I actually forget any tips that I can give that If I have some, lol. 
. I just hope that you make it to be an studio contestant, I really have no ideas or tips because I never been into any game shows. I wish I can watch you but we don't have TFC here. And I read your two responses and they already give you some tips so I'll just save mine, lol. I wish all the best and all the luck. Please say hello to Kris Aquino, lol.

All I could do now is to pray that I'd make it to the last step. Whew! I couldn't even put myself to sleep. I really am so nervous. To be honest I was skeptic of the whole thing at first but when I validated with ABS CBN it was real. I really am included in the screening process. If ever I'll be chosen to be a studio contestant, I would definitely tell kris that you said Hi. hihihi. I would tape it and send you a copy. But first things first, I need to pass the screening process.

I used to watch this show all the time! Even though I didn't fully understand Tagalog I could at least pick a case and see how much I could have won. My wife and her family would each pick cases too and we would have a lot of fun teasing each other during the show if one of us ended up with a small amount. lol. My advice is that you be as outgoing as possible, smile a lot and dress smart casual. And as for nervousness? Nobody there knows you so become an actress of sorts and be everything you have always dreamed of being personality wise. They will NEVER know the difference! Good luck!

So it's bonding time with your family,huh. Kewl! I like your advice. It's true that I would have to be outgoing as possible. I watched the show earlier today and certainly those with invigorating characters usually were chosen. Oh yikes! I tend to be shy when I'm so nervous but I'll keep your advice in mind. Smiling a lot wouldn't be a problem since I do this all the time. Smart casual - check! Thanks James! You're of big help. I just hope I could pass the series of interviews.

Nope! I didn't make it to the third step. I failed the second exam. It was more of a personality test rather than a typical exam which you usually come across when you're looking for work. They are looking for some sort of a personality who would give the best reactions on air. They are actually looking for those who are very jolly and who would stick up until the end even if all the huge amounts have been opened. well, at least now I know how to go about it. They said that I can still join, I just have to use another simcard.
