I only have one child now, but am thinking that I want two or three. Three kids in college would be very hard. How many children do want?

During my first marriage I always want to have 6 children and I do have 6 all in all now including my daughter from my wife now for almost 9 years......and I am grateful that I have it all and got the last child from the woman I do loved much more than myself.

I have three right now my littlest son is six months old and I think my husband and me are starting to wonder if we want another one. I came from a large family so I guess that's where I get it from.

I too came from a large family. I am the youngest of eight. I wonder if I am less able to take on a large family because I was the baby, and don't have any experience with children, other then my own.

I was the baby up till I was fourteen then my mom had my little brother she started all over lol. I am learning as I go but always loved children I helped out with others children as much as possible cause I love them. But, I guess that is what any parent does learn as they go and take what their childhood was and turn it into that is the way they want to raise their kids or the way they don't want to raise their kids its a two way street there.

My mother was the second of two children for her parents. My dad was the 15th of 16 kids for his parents (no twins, same mom and dad). I am one of two children. I'd personally like three children. However I am 27 and don't see plans of getting married in my near future. Because of my health I do not want to have kids past the age of 35. So I'm not sure what the future holds for me in that regard. However, I would never turn away the option of adopting. : ) So maybe in that way I would have a child past 35. : )

27 is very young, but I understand your desire to have children before the age of 35. I bet you will have the opportunity to have your own children, but I admire you for having an open mind about adoption. Adoptive parents are some of the best parents in the world... Prepared and loving.

I always wanted 4 children. I have 3 boys ages 19, 16, 14 and a girl age 8. My 19 yr old didn't go to college. He decided out of high school that he didnt' want college, so I told him to go out and get a full time job. He did and actually has a great job! he works full time as a welder and he loves it. He makes just about as much an hour that my husband does!! He have full benefits, 401K and all! My husband and I have college funds for each of our children. We started them when they were born and every birthday we put $100 in their college fund and every Christmas too. This is by no means enough to pay for college, but it will be a help to the kids.

Three boys sounds like a lot of fun, and then a little princess. The college fund sounds doable with 200 a year. I think that's a great idea.

I and my husband wanted to have 4 kids. Two girls and two boys but after my c-section. I can only have two -three. I don't have to have three kids coz i don't want that my middle kid will feel inferior towards the two. So we decided to have two kids and hopefully that's after three years.

I had a c-section and no one told me about a limit. That is very interesting.

I have four kids. eldest is in college right now and youngest is in Third grade. Me and hubby is still wishing to one more baby, financilly we are not able to do that. Hubby is planning to go abroad, if ever he makes it there we planned to have another one. My kids loves borrowing babies and taking care of them, i know that it will be a totally different experience compare to borrowed ones, but we are so used to having a little baby around that we would really love to have another one.
