nowdays, there is much controversy as to the advantages and usefulness probing the outer space, some people say that it is a waste of money and we have so many problems to cope with on the earth that we should not diverge out attention.
i don't think these ideas are right, the probing of the outer space has proved, and will still prove, crucial to us,since the launing of the first satellite about four dacades ago and man's landing on the moon, we have come to kown much about the universe, our planet is a part of the universe,if we kown little about the universal how can we kown our earth and its changes better?

yeah.. exploring outer space is really worthy and even worth dying too.. If nobody had ever explore outer space i don't believe our world would develop like this or should i say evolved. As you should a decades past a satellite was launch in the outer space. and exploring and exploring outer space is very much important although a lot had been proved but take note that outer space is so endless so exploring it and discovering more and more is very important who knows people in the future may live in Mars or any other planet in the universe since we are facing this global warming and we don't know in the future if this earth of ours can sustain the people..
so exploring in the outer space would be a very great idea.. and maybe a scientists can discover that would be a great impact on mankind..

As you have alluded to, it really depends on the reasoning behind our exploration. If it is just to see something neat then it is pretty useless. But if it is to discover things about life on earth and how we can use that knowledge to better our lives than it is well worth it. I personally would love to see even more exploration. I think with more privateers getting involved in space exploration we may see a big change in the focus of space exploration.
