Do you LOL? or do you laugh out loud? When your chatting with your friends online or in an email are you an internet slang user? It took me forever to learn all the internet slang out there today and sometimes I still see one that makes me scratch my head and say..huh?? It certainly is easier to cut down these long phrases with simple abbreviations. I often find myself using them at other times, other than being online, like texting a friend or even when I hand write a letter. Anyone else do that?

I use it all the time, but I agree with you. Sometimes someone will type something and I have no clue what it means. Generally, I use lol, rotfl, lmao, wtf, kwim, jk, tmi, and omg. Sometimes I say lol, jk, and wtf in face to face convo. Ppl just stare at me like I have issues.
It took me forever to learn DH, DD, and DS, though I think that's more adoption related internet slang.

I am, I really am LOL...
In all seriousness, I really don't use much internet slang, just mostly LOL, BRB, LOL, YW, or ROTFLMBO. Those are the ones I use. The others I would probably get confused on...

OMG, WTF?! NOway N00b!!!!! Lol! Jk Jk
Actually, heck no, in fact I think it is destroying America. And, while I admit to the occasional lazyness in my writing, I find it quite annoying, especially excessive use of the word "lol"
Whats worse is that it is currently making it's way into normal everyday conversation.
