Who is playing the race card?

I keep hearing about how the Conservatives are going to try to scare us about Obama being black. Yet the only ones I actually hear playing the card are on the left. Saying that if you don't vote for him It's because you are a racist. They are even saying that words like "uppity" and "community organizer" are "code words" for racism. This seems like desperation to me. People with 'D' after their name are continually making remarks that should insult people of color, Especially Joe Biden. But these remarks don't seem to bother anyone on the left. Yet we have Heather Mallick of the CBC, and Saturday Night Live and Sandra Bernhard saying the most vile things about Palin and her family. Even Obama himself basically calling her a pig. (don't even try to say that's Not what he meant) Or Russell Brand calling the President a Retarded cowboy. And Not a peep from the Left Condemning any of this. Criticizing a persons' Policies or beliefs is one thing, but this kind of Vile attacks on a politicians children and personal life are worse than any racism. Racism is based on ignorance. This is done on purpose. And all the lefties have to say about it is that it's her fault for accepting the Nomination. I find this very telling.

Racists card is being played big from left right and center. It is only this morning read an article where they are saying that a survey was done and the complains are that a person would not vote for Obama because Blacks are lazy, violent and the worse in the society. I think that people should look on the performance of the person instead of the skin colour. Whether we want to live in denial yes or no RACISM is very much alive and well in America whether it be republican or demorcate.

I have not recently heard any race cards being pulled and if they did I would only see it as another distraction and find it VERY frustrating but I usually watch CNN and FOX back n forth and late at night WHYY public news. I do not care what anyone says about race as long as it doesnt involve key players because our head needs to be stuck on the issues like our economy and absolutely no where else and bickering is getting us nowhere.

You are right. They claim that if you do not vote for Obama, you must be racist. Maybe I don't like his politics! This type of thing just chaps my a55. But if you don't vote for McCain, you must be ageist and sexist!
