I am a drafter and spends atleast 9 hours of my time in the office.. Thus i need to deal with the people around me.. The job itself is stressful.. Sometimes i need to work an extra 3-4 hours to be able to accomplish the days work.. then comes my officemates.. we are assigned to different works but sometimes, we do ask assistance from each other.. but sometimes things at work becomes personal.. jus like my immediate supervisor.. i work really hard to please him, but he doesn't appreciate it.. i have no problem in him making criticisms about my work.. but him criticizing me as a person is way to personal.. i am trying to reach out to him to inform him that he's behavior is disturbing, but my senior officemates, which is also under his supervision told me that i will just be wasting my time.. many of them had tried but nothing happened.. im already planning to leave my job.. my boss is really stressful.. am i doing the right thing? if not, what else can i do to lessen or eliminate the stress i accumulate in work? thanks guys..

Fortunatley my job is not as stressful as that. If I were you I wuld get one of those stress balls and squeeze the life out of it. You might want to buy in bulk. Or maybe have a spa treatment or just treat yourself to something that you enjoy. All that really matters is that you know you are doing the best job you can, everytime he says or dose something like this to you remember that.
