Pinecone Research Cuts pay by 40%

I'm not sure whats going on with them but they cut their survey payment by 40% ($5.00-$3.00) which I think was a very stupid move on their part and there also weekly contests which to me seem like a waste of effort. The whole reason I joined them is because I got paid a decent rate and didn't have to take a pre-screening survey.

i have been receiving $3 surveys from them all summer. (did they used to pay $5?)
I just joined a few months ago.
they are the only site that consistently pay me.

I've been a member of Pinecone for about 4 years and I use to get 5 dollars per survey, then some months back they sent me a email saying if I didn't take the pay cut to 3 dollars then I wouldn't get as many surveys ( or something similar to that effect) so I took the pay cut.. I really didn't want to but I knew if I didn't they probably would stop sending me survey's and they are one of the very few survey company's that pay's quickly and are known for being one of the few dependable market research sites online.

I am not a member but I gueaa that $3 is better than nothing and maybe they realised that they would be at a loss if they continued with $5.

you know, i am a member of pinecone but have yet to receive a single survey from them! i am a member of a ton of other survey sites, though, so it's not really a big deal- i guess you just reminded me of that. lol
