I heard last night that Biden and Obama are not getting along too well, that Biden does not agree with much of what Obama stands for and doing in this election. They said the statements that he is making is like he is trying to get out of the VP position. Obama now wants Hillary to run with him, do you think that Hillary will take the VP position with Obama. Is she that hard up to get into the Whitehouse that she would consider joining him now after she was turned down for Biden. I'm sorry if I was Hillary and he now wanted me I would feel it is because McCain took Palin and he believe he will get Hillary's supporters. If I was voting for him, I would change my mind real fast because this would tell me what kind of person he is. So what do you think will Hilllary except the position to run with him, or turn it down. Would Hillary being his VP make you change your mind and vote for him. I think this would be the worst move he could make. How about you what do you think?

Hillary wants to be president not vice president. If she becomes Obama's VP and he is elected, she might have to wait eight years before she can run again for president. I don't think the Clintons want to wait that long. Of course, I could be wrong. It doesn't matter if Hillary is or isn't Obams's running mate, I still won't vote for him. I don't care for his policies.

Well i havent heard this yet but i guess if Biden does step back, it will look bad for the whole party. It will probably show weakness and lack of teamwork and ability to run for the white house. So i guess i think Hillary should accept the VP position because then there will be a woman VP for the USA in 2008, not that i actually care, lool. I Guess Hillary should take the stand because maybe her supporters will leave Palin's side and come right back to Barrack Obama. Everyone says that if Hillary's supporters supported Obama then, Palin would never come up. IF you compare the two i think Hillary is a much better pick than Palin anyday.

Where did you hear this? It has been a rumor ONLY, for just a few days. Why would you make a judgment on it until you found out the facts. I think this is more Republican propaganda. I do think that Hillary Clinton would do anything she could for the party however.

In Bill Clinton's interview on The View, he indicated that Hillary didn't want to be Obama's VP candidate, so I'm not sure even if Biden stepped back that she would step into the position unless it was just because she feels an obligation to the party.
I think it's really interesting that Obama's own VP candidate doesn't agree with him - and I don't think that Hillary would agree with him either - I personally don't think they could get along well enough to serve together.

I don't know if Obama is getting along with Biden or not. It is true that of late Biden seems to have made a few mini-gaffes, I called them mini-gaffes only because he was trying to be self-depreciatory and was simply speaking his mind, a quality I wish more politicians would adhere to these days.
Will Obama drop Biden and draft in Hillary? I doubt it very much - to do so would mean that he would be very open to questions about his judgement, if he changes his mind over his VP, how could he then instill confidence out there that he is able to lead?
And in any case, I can't see him picking Hillary anyway, there has been too much bad blood between the Obama and Hillary camps in the past and Obama probably fears that he would be overshadowed by Mr and Mrs Clinton should he get to the White House. Also, Hillary has very high negative ratings amongst not only Republicans but also independents, some of whom might well defect to McCain if he selects Hillary as his running mate. Obama might then have a problem of his negatives being compounded by Hillary's negatives, and double negatives ain't good in grammar and I doubt there much good in a Presidential election!

I have been supporters of Hiliary and Obama from the start. I do think that they could make a good team. If Biden and Obama are feuding and can not come to a decision on topics now that will possibly cause trouble. It is ok to disagree on certain areas but it is the agreement that matters. If they can not compromise and come to a decision that is best for the country it could be disastrous.

WOW!
That would make us Democrats have a sure fire WIN!
Hilliary knows her stuff and there is NO comparison
between her and Palin other than that ...they are women.
Sorry folks but Palin has shown me nothing that
would make me think she is even Governor capable.

Hi there. As an observer of the American political process (I'm in London, England) the race for the White House just gets better and better!! It's so much more interesting than what's going on in yhr English system. I also heard that Biden had made quite a few gaffs even before Obama chose him as his Vice President. But I think he comes across as a really good guy. I'm not so sure about Hilary. I think it is unlikely that Obama will now choose Hilary, instead of Biden.
