Are you a spontaneous person or do you plan everthing you do?

I am a planner but my partner is very spontaneous. He loves change and he do things that surprise me, take a different route on the road, do surprise shopping just to add a touch of surprise to our lives. I am not like this but I love it when he does it as it does brighten up the day, adds a touch of mystery to life, a lovely surprise. What about you? Are you into spontaneous acts, surprises? Or do you have to plan everything you do so you always know what you are doing at every moment? If you are a planner do you like to have someone in your life who can surprise you or do you hate surprises?

I'm a little bit of both I think. There are a lot of things that I plan, but there are also many times when I will decide at the spur of the moment to do something differently or just decide to up and go some place at the last minute or something like that.

oooh i'm a bit of both if i'm honest lol i am often left to plan organise and keep track but like to just go with the flow when i can. I rarely panic about time i'd drive my friends crazy at uni they'd all have their timetables for the trains and i'd just go when i finished not knowing what time the train was due. They'd be like what if you've just missed one? I was like why does it matter they never turn up when they state they will anyways this way i don't get stressed. If it isn't in i'll do coursework on the station. I'm like that at weekend we just tend to do as we feel when we feel where the week is very structured. I think i'm an organised planner because i have to be because my boyfriend moves to the beat of his own drum and one of us has to take charge but if i had my way i'd prefer to be more spontaneous. Then again maybe not because sometimes i get irritated with him because he wants to do things but then doesn't plan times and stuff and we end up doing only half because he's not thought it through. MMM so maybe i'm a planner that wants to be spontaneous but only 10% of the time ha ha ha

I think being a bit of both is good. I always thought I was a bit of both until I met my partner. He can just do things on the spur of the moment and I do not do that very often. I have done but I suspect that because he is so spontaneous my planner side comes out more as a sort of balance. Well maybe. It could just be that in comparison to him I seem to be a very careful planner. I cannot even leave the house without at least 10 minutes warning to give me time to check that things are turned off, that doors are locked, that I have not forgotten anything. Whereas my partner will just go. More than once he has just finished what he was doing and said lets go and gone out the door and I find myself running round in a panic checking things I have probably already checked but just making sure that everything is fine. It got so bad that he now gives me at least 20 mins warning so I can get ready and not panic. But I love it when he changes routes or just decides to go down a new road to see where it leads, or go somewhere we have never been. It makes life so much fun. Maybe we compliment each other.

I tend to be more responsible but i don't have to do round checking the house or anything and i like to just drop what i'm doing and go out unless it's work. I like to not have weekends planned and just do whatever thats fun. I panic if i'm organising and it's not planned i can't do that i suppose it depends on my mood but as a general rule in inportant things like work/money i'm serious i plan i'm organised after work spontaneous go with the flow whatever suits. I do wish we did more thinks like day trips spontaniously mine tend to be reatively small things

Hello mylotting friends!!!! I am for sure a spontaneous and impulsive person. I don't like to plan anything ahead, but just go for it!! I think this is a better way to enjoy life. What about you???

I tend to be more a planner than spontaneous but my partner is spontaneous enough for both of us and that makes life fun. I can sometimes just do something on the spur of the moment but if I think about it too much then I see all the things that might be needed or might go wrong and my planner side comes out and starts to deal with all the queries and I end up often not doing it or planning it out very carefully. But if someone I am with does something spontaneous I will go with them and enjoy it. Variety makes life fun and interesting.
