abusive relationship

Please tell me thet why most of the times a female partner under an abusive relationship has to stay in it for the sake of her child. I want to know what is more important , to give the love and presence of both the parents to the child or to pull yourself out of an abusive relationship.

Opting to stay for the sake of the children is a hopeless case,because there is no way of getting help, an abused victim will forever be at the mercy of the abuser, whereas leaving gives a 50/50 chance of getting help and coming out of the bad situation, and therefore when there is help there is hope and more people are saved. Love can never be felt by a child when there is fear. So if you are in an abusive relationship right now, gather all your courage and leave NOW while you still can or it might be too late.

Thanks for your comments. Someone very close to me is in an abusive relationship. I would really like that person to take the decision which is fair to her as well as to her kid also.
