Walking on the roadside...How you look

When we walk, some of us look down / up or straight..we can say its habit. And some says that we can tell the characteristics of a person by that. Do you believe on that and how you look when you walk is it down/up or straight..I always look straight.

When I was in high school, the boys always teased me and that made me uncomfortable. I used to walk with my head down and I think that I was hoping that they would not notice me then. Also, I could pretend that I didn't know that they were there. Now that I am a grown up, though I walk straight -- except when my rheumatoid arthritis is flaring -- then I walk crooked.

i generally look down. you can say its something like my habit. may be sometimes i also look straight.

i too believe that it part of the culture is the reason for walk looking down, do you have any guess subha

Usually when I walk I look straight ahead, although I do span my eyes around and see around me, but I never look down unless I'm afraid I'll trip. but generally I just walk with my eyes looking forward as much as I look towards my future and not my past ^_^

I am also look straight. I do not like the idea of looking to the sides while walking, especially I have to take care while walking as I have a prolapsed disc at my back and am currently under treatment. I don't know how far it will support my absent mindedness if look to the sides while walking! hahaahhaah Happy myLotting!

hi krish, even i have heard people say that the walking style tells about the person's character. but i really don't know if it works. when i walk i just don't look around. i walk by looking straight in the road. i hardly look around when i come across some shops. happy mylotting!

I am usually watching my children as they are with me and I don't want one of them to take off out on the road and me not see this happen . I wouldn't say that you can tell the characeristics of a person by the way they are walking on the roadside . There is so much more to a person then the way they were walking and one day one might be in a rush while another day it could be just a nice walk .

thats ofcourse me too do my friend when i am with children, but what you do when you walk alone..i am also not that much accepting the words that predicting characteristics but my friend tells so

When I walk down, it really depends on the street I am walking on, when I walk on dangerous streets I tend to look up high, pretending to know the area. oh well keeps me away from trouble. But when I am in the mall, I look all around, side to side. looking for good deals but when in any where else I just look straight.
