Words are powerful.Nothing has had a greater impact on the minds of the people more than reading and writing. One person can cause people to change their opinions whereas a sword can only change a person's opinion by force. What is your say?

Wow.. a deep thinking indeed. I like your discussion, brisk123. I know that even before, but I never have any idea how to use that. But you have enlightening me with your words today, that words and people opinion has a very big power to move people, and that is seen from how the press in every country can make public opinion changed from time to time. I wonder if you are a writer because you know this proverbs which really well-known in journalistic people.

Thank you dear,I will take it as a compliment. But it is true, that every big fight can be won and ended with kind words, a lot of difference can be made and hearts can be captured, whereas swords only spread violence nothing else. Power of words is far greater than aggression.Sometimes words feel shaper than a sword. Words can be piercing at times.Happy myLotting!

Oh! what a great idea you have there! yes pen is definitely mightier than sword,... we can write our feelings and opinion to influence other in the best and cleanest way ever and it is really true that sword will only change someones belief and opinion by force. Thanks for the discussion, i really learned a very important lesson here!

Hi my friend, good to hear that, even in myLot, we are expressing our thoughts and opinions only through the medium of writing. We are influencing the minds, encouraging some and we are actually communicating live through myLot through our discussions and responses. Are you also interested in being a writer?I can see that..

That is so very true. Something gained by force is truly not something that induces a sense of pride but something gained through enlightenment, which comes often with the written word allows a much deserved sense of pride.I have always loved to read and write and have learned far more from books then I could have ever learned in school - books taught me about life, pain, happiness, laughter and so much more. As far as writing this has always been a method that I have adopted to share or get control of my feelings. Great point you made. Thank you~
