did anyonefall in love with their best friend

i could definitly be wrong, but I dont know if its a great idea to ask her to marry you right away. (how old are both of you btw?) it might be better to date for at least a couple months first just to see if it really can work. i have fallen in love with my best friend before and it was so amazing. i loved how we were so close to begin with. unfortunatly in my case things went horribly and now me and him hardly talk and we are awkward together---nothing like the amazing connection we've always had before. i think it would be worth it to tell her you are in love with her. the couple weeks that me and my best friend were "dating" were the most amazing weeks. we never slept together or anything, we only kissed a couple times. its actually quite indescribable, the connection we had. its tragic that we have close to nothing now, but i wouldnt take back what happened. im now engaged to someone else and when i look at him i can tell hes still painfully in love with me and somewhere deep down i feel the same. but we both know that it will never work between us. but like i said. go for it. it might just be the most best (and hopefully last!) relationship of your life! :) GOOD LUCK!!! and if it doesnt work out. damn. but its so worth risking. i hope it works for you!

oh wow thats a tough situation. i was there at one point in my life but luckily my friend kind of felt the same. one thing you have to know is that its hard to go back to being friends if something happens between you guys. i never got my friend back. i just straight out told him when i felt that we were both in the same place. he said he felt the same way and things went on from there. maybe you could do something similar. just let your heart guide you.
