who would you chose friend or love

Honestly i shouldn't have to choose friend or love because if i find love my friend should be happy for me whatever it is, and who ever i fall in love with should understand that i have a best friend who i wouldn't stop talking to for the world.

Before proposing I will test waters first. I would check if my friend has the same feelings or not for me. If not I would not dare to propose because I don;t want to lose her friendship.

If he/she is my bestfriend, i should have know how he/she will react towards my confess. If he/she is my bestfriend, he/she should understand that I'm true and if we can't "develop" to become lovers, we still can keep our friendship.

Well, I am currently not in a situation like this, nor have I ever been, but I think if I was, and the chances looked good, I would definately give it a shot. Hopefully if it did not work out, we would still be friends, but that really is the biggest risk. A lot of people are friends after they break up, like Elaine and Jerry from Seinfeld.
